BS 7984 (Key Holding Standard)
NE Key Holding and Alarm Response Officer is a trained person who attends a location in response to an event and when required provides guarding services.
The new British Standards require Key Holders and Alarm Response Officers to have been formally trained and assessed in their duties to comply with the requirements of ACS audits. Part of that training is to take place in the classroom fulfils this section of BS 7984:2008.
All NE Key Holding and Alarm Response staff complete 16 hours of formal classroom training, as required by the BS 7984 standard. This course also meets the audit conditions for those wishing to update their skills and remain ACS Compliant.
The Key Holding and Alarm Response Training course is aimed at delegates to meet the formal element of the latest British Standard (BS7984:2008) plus the compliance requirement of that British Standard.
BS 7858 (Staff Security: Screening & Vetting Standard)
All NE trained staff receive each potential candidate’s application to perform the verification checks meeting the requirements of BS 7858:2012, the SIA and other industry bodies and insurers.
This process includes:
Electronic, faxed or postal receipt of application form and letter of authority.
Immediate confirmation of receipt and fast check of application for completeness / readiness to screen.
Immediate commencement of verbal telephone vetting.

Candidate consumer credit check
5-year history verification (Within 12 weeks)
Completion of screening progress report and review of all documents.
